The Black Jaguar Foundation hosted representatives from CAIXA for an intensive field journey through the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor. During the visit, interviews, footage, and testimonials were recorded for an exclusive web series about the projects supported by CAIXA’s Socio-Environmental Fund — including the planting of 1 million trees with BJF.
The filming took place in Santana do Araguaia (Pará), at Black Jaguar Foundation sites: areas under ecological restoration, the forest nursery, and local partner properties. We also traveled to Tocantins to visit Ressemear seed collection groups, part of the Araguaia Seed Network, to showcase up close the social and environmental impact of this initiative.

The web series is in its final production phase and will be presented during COP30, which will take place in Belém in November 2025. We can’t wait to share the results of this work that unites forests, people, and the future!
In the meantime, here’s a video giving you a glimpse behind the scenes of the filming:
