Black Jaguar Foundation featured in an article by Carlos Nobre in Valor Econômico newspaper!

At the end of July, Carlos Nobre — one of the world’s most respected climate scientists and an ambassador of the Black Jaguar Foundation — published an opinion piece in Valor Econômico, one of Brazil’s largest and most influential newspapers, especially among business and agribusiness leaders.

In the article, titled “Restored forest, strengthened production”, Nobre argues that conservation and ecological restoration are essential to ensuring the resilience of Brazil’s agricultural production, particularly in the face of advancing climate change. He emphasizes that restoring degraded forests is crucial for water security, soil protection, and climate stability — all factors directly linked to agricultural productivity.

Nobre also cites the Black Jaguar Foundation as a real-world example of large-scale restoration that combines science, socio-environmental impact, and collaboration with the productive sector.

This mention in such a high-profile outlet reinforces the recognition and importance of BJF’s mission in addressing global challenges.
